Thanks for the responses!
Got Chris, Jazz and John’s gifts ordered.
Pa and Step Ma: gonna see if I can get some Celtics or Bruins tickets cuz Pats are just too damn expensive even for shitty seats.
Step Pa: Getting a Subscription to Outdoor Life cuz Eric is just such a charming salesman. Where do I list your name so you get the commission?
Ma: Still getting a Kindle unless I come up with something better
Thanks again for the help!

I hate this holiday with a deep seeded passion. Between the seasonal depression, traveling and visiting the hometown and all that goes with that, the pressure of good gift giving, it is all just obnoxious, draining and something I could do without.
I wish everyone in my life would just agree, “I dont get you anything and you don’t get me anything, eat a bunch of food together, get drunk then be on our way for another year.” Not to mention my family is impossible to shop for unless they tell me exactly what they want.
So far my ideas are:
Ma (reader, seamstress, caregiver): Kindle
Pa (football, baseball, basketball fan, salesman): God knows?
Sister (obnoxious girl stuff, short bus driver): Whatever DVD she tells me
Neice (5, artsy, girly, loves hannah montanna, stuff that will annoy sister): The Giving Tree, Water Color set
Step Ma (football / baseball fan, mother of 10, child day care provider): God Knows?
Step Pa (outdoorsman, handyman): EMS Gift Card?
Chris and Jazz (newly weds, geeks): Trying to figure it out, probably something nerd related
Taking suggestions, any ideas?
